Yahoo Drops Paid Inclusion

Yahoo announced yesterday that they will end their practice of paid inclusion, effective Dec 31, 2009.  Research credit goes to Barry Schwartz with Search Engine Land.

Just a mere 11 years after Google entered the scene with unpaid, unbiased and uninfluenced organic results (and yes, maybe I’m being a little naive), Yahoo has finally caught up.
